Retiring top manager of the pump group Grundfos, Mads Nipper, tells Børsen (Danish business newspaper) that he has been surprised at how much money the company has saved by starting to hold meetings via web-meetings.
Grundfos has historically spent around DKK 40 million (RM 27 Juta) a month on meetings, conferences and travel, overnight stays, dinners and the like.
But all these expenses have more or less put an end to the corona crisis.
“We have probably saved 30 million kroner a month on holding digital meetings. There is no doubt that it is about saving our result for 2020 in a corona-affected world, ”says Mads Nipper to the newspaper.
